We will be hosting a conversation table at the Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance (REBA) Spring Member Summit on 8th May. The Summit will take place from 7-9th May at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Join the conversation, hosted by Natural Capital Partners' VP Western Region, Saskia Feast: Infrastructure for renewable energy in the U.S. may be growing, but how do we open up renewable energy markets throughout the world?
Companies want to increase their renewable energy procurement to cover their global operations but many markets do not provide the infrastructure required such as credible monitoring, reporting and verification through independent standards and systems.
This session will discuss how to establish new renewable energy markets using a case study from Israel: evaluating and establishing market demand, due diligence requirements, identifying appropriate producers, getting government endorsement, setting timeframes, resource requirements and potential transition solutions to bridge the gap to future renewable energy product innovations. It will showcase how building this sort of reliable tracking and accounting infrastructure in new markets enables third party labels, such as EPEAT, to recognise corporate commitments to a low carbon future.

The REBA Spring Summit will bring together more than 300 renewable energy buyers, developers, and intermediaries to accelerate the fast-growing market for renewable energy transactions. REBA’s goal is to catalyse 60 gigawatts (GW) of new renewable energy by 2025 and expand the number of organisations buying clean power to tens of thousands in the next decade.
