30 January 2019 |

In this webinar, Julianne Baroody, Director of Standards Development at Verra, explains the Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (SD VISta), which establishes clear rules for projects to show how they are delivering Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) impacts and enables companies to make credible claims about supporting the SDGs.

Standards expert Verra has launched its new programme enabling businesses to support verified impacts SDGs. SD VISta establishes clear rules for high quality sustainable development projects to show how they are delivering positive impact for people, their prosperity and the planet, giving companies the assurance they need for the credibility of their SDG programmes.

Verra is the non-profit organization that developed and manages the world’s leading voluntary programme for the certification of greenhouse gas emission reduction projects, the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS). In this webinar, Julianne Baroody, Director of Standards Development at Verra, discusses how the standard ensures the quality of sustainable development projects, how corporates can support projects and what claims they will be able to make about their SDG impact. The session is moderated by Ben Massie from the Global Markets team at Natural Capital Partners who was on the SD VISta Standard Development Advisory Committee.
