04 December 2018 |
,

In this webinar Jonathan Shopley, Managing Director of Natural Capital Partners, and Christopher Webb, Senior Policy Advisor – Climate Change, Europe at The Nature Conservancy, explore how the COP24 negotiations can accelerate private sector climate action and what companies can expect from the negotiations.

In December 2018 the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)'s annual climate summit, Conference of the Parties (COP24), takes place in Katowice, Poland to negotiate the rules to implement the Paris Agreement.

This webinar explores what the negotiations may mean for private sector climate action. In particular:

  • Ten recommendations from the private sector for the UNFCCC and countries to consider during COP24
  • What companies can expect as outcomes from the negotiations

Panellists:

  • Jonathan Shopley, Managing Director at Natural Capital Partners
  • Christopher Webb, Senior Policy Advisor – Climate Change, Europe at The Nature Conservancy
  • (Moderator) Rebecca Fay, Chief Marketing Officer at Natural Capital Partners
