2023 saw the passing of California’s Voluntary Carbon Market Disclosures Bill, an EU Directive on Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition, and the launch of the Voluntary Carbon Market Integrity Initiative (VCMI)’s Claims Code of Practice.

1. An updated and expanded Protocol to help companies navigate the leading certifications and frameworks. These include: ISO’s forthcoming 14068 Standard for Carbon Neutrality, ISO’s Net Zero Guidelines, VCMI’s Carbon Integrity marks, and the Science-Based Target initiative’s Net Zero Standard, as well as the updated requirements of CarbonNeutral® certification.
2. A new Climate Impact Partners Dashboard to equip companies to be transparent in meeting evolving expectations and requirements. The digital platform provides live data about carbon credit and EAC purchases, including project and retirement information.
