The CarbonNeutral® accreditation will ensure members and their customers, can fufill this need and enhance their corporate reputation at no additional cost to their businesses.
To achieve the CarbonNeutral® brand mark, Integra worked with The CarbonNeutral Company to complete an independent assessment of the CO2 emissions produced from the manufacturing, packaging, storage and distribution of the initiative multipurpose papers, PC2526 & PC2527. To complement the already strong environmental policies of the paper mill where the initiative brand is produced, Integra took the decision to offset the CO2 emissions through carbon offsetting. This means that every tonne of CO2 produced by the initiative brand is counter balanced with a tonne of CO2, saved by a validated emission reduction project which has met international standards. The projects chosen are Beijin Hydro power project, Jilin coal mine methane project and Hufu waste heat recovery project, all located in China.
To help dealers generate awareness of the initiative multipurpose papers new status, Integra has launched a promotional campaign for customers to win shopping vouchers worth £1500. Free of charge promotional collateral is available to members to support this campaign.

Dealers can now sign up to a CarbonNeutral® company Accreditation Programme. The programme consists of an independent assessment of members’ CO2 emissions and a carbon reduction strategy to reduce the carbon footprint to net zero. Once the programme is complete the dealer will be awarded CarbonNeutral® company status.
